Christmas Connection

With the current cost of living crisis, Christmas can be difficult time for many people. Christmas should bring joy to families, but in hard times like these, what should be a period of celebration and peace only adds more worry to parents or caregivers already facing financial difficulties.  

Derby City Mission has a heart to get as many presents as possible to children who otherwise would not receive any.

Last year we were able to provide present parcels for 928 Derby children in need - imagine the joy this brought! 

Each November you can join in with Christmas Connection to:

• Help us to alleviate the huge stress that parents face when they feel as if they are letting their children down by not being able to provide for them.
  
  
• Bring joy to children who may otherwise feel shame and embarrassment about not having any gifts to tell their friends about.

You do not understand how much difference the gifts for our children made at Christmas. They were so happy. The variety of gifts you gave meant that they lasted for much longer than Christmas Day! They especially loved the art and craft gifts. We cannot thank you enough for your support. We are so grateful to those who donated.
