Volunteers Honoured with Community Diamond Award

Our dedicated team of volunteers recently received a fantastic surprise: the Community Diamond Award from Asda Spondon. This award, presented by Rosie — Asda’s inspiring Community Champion — recognises the outstanding commitment and compassion our volunteers show week after week.

Asda has long been one of our key supporters, generously hosting a donation point in-store. This recognition is a tribute to every volunteer who gives their time and energy to serve others. We couldn’t be prouder of our amazing team!

New Partnership with Utilita

We’re also thrilled to welcome Utilita as a new partner agency. Their team is now visiting the café regularly to offer our clients expert advice on reducing energy bills — a service that’s especially vital during the ongoing cost-of-living challenges.

What’s more, Utilita has chosen us as their official food bank partner, and they’ve already begun donating essential items to support our work. Their involvement is helping us expand the practical help we can offer to those in need.
