The impact of Christmas Connection 2025

A huge thank you to everybody who generously bought a gift from our wish list at Christmas, or donated money. We received enough gifts to make 928 children very happy at Christmas - children who may not have received any Christmas presents without you!

You also took so much stress, anxiety and shame away from Derby parents in real financial crisis. No parent wants their child to wake up to an empty stocking on Christmas day. Thank you so much for your compassion and generosity. One of our partners sent us this message shortly after Christmas:

"We just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for your tireless work and commitment to Christmas Connection. The messages we've received from parents, and the reactions from children, have been genuinely moving. For many families, these presents brought not just joy, but a sense of being seen, cared for and included."

As if that wasn't enough, our amazing supporters gave over £25,000 to our Christmas appeal, which has provided a big boost to our work with rough sleepers and other people battling poverty and complex needs in Derby. It's great to have your partnership as we transform lives together!
