Hi My name is Jayne!

I came to a Jubilee Debt and Advice Clinic early 2017. Basically I was in a lot of debt and I was struggling massively. I couldn’t cope with it and I needed help and advice.

I found out about clinics on their website and saw that they had drop in sessions so I didn't need an appointment.

I went to Davenport Road Evangelical Church, it was friendly, welcoming and I am glad I went.

I have 2 small kids and at the time we were so financially unstable it was worrying because we were reaching a point where we were looking at homelessness and hostels and things and I didn’t want it to get that far.

It just spiralled out of control and I didn’t know how to get out of it.

Now, 18 months on, it’s amazing...

We have a house, we are financially stable and we can look forward to Christmas, birthdays and not have to worry about presents. Anything they need, I can go out and get them clothes if I need to, there’s always food in the fridge, the bills are all paid… it’s a good place to be.

The Jubilee team have literally saved us

They have all been so supportive, Sarah and all the team have just been so welcoming, friendly and given great advice and I have recommended them to friends and family already.

Don’t be as stubborn as I was, if you feel like you need help, go and get it straight away

They are there, they want to help and they will help.

If you, or you know of someone in financial difficulty who may benefit from support and advice, please go to our Jubilee web page here
